Thai Orchid restaurant is a fantastic local restaurant right in the neighborhood. This Miami restaurant has been around since 1990. They recently remodeled their classic Thai restaurant and opened a wonderful new sushi bar in the middle. The name of the new fusion is Thai & Sushi Bistro. What a wonderful place to dine for special occasions or on any night as a family friendly location.

We recently visited the Thai & Sushi Bistro. The new menu has a selection for each person in your family. For sushi lovers, they will be delighted with the new selection on the sushi menu. For those that do not enjoy sushi they have flavorful Thai entrees. One meat that is exceptional at this local restaurant is the duck. Many will dine here specifically for the duck entrees. The flavors are like no other. They offer many different kinds of duck, such as the Thai Orchid Duck, the Sweet and Sour Duck, and the Basil Duck.

For dessert there is one plate that stands out in the bunch. The sweetest delights are their Thai donuts. Even with a full stomach, the Thai donuts hit the right spot. You have one and you go back for more. One plate of Thai Donuts is not enough, they are sure to disappear and you are sure to order another plate.

Besides the food, the service was wonderful. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We even had the pleasure of speaking with one of the owners. Thai Sushi Bistro, formally known as Thai Orchid Restaurant has a combination that will have you coming back for more. Their new fusion, food, and service are noteworthy.
